This Chaplet consists of 3 groups of 7 beads and a Medal of St. Peregrine:
On the medal begin with this prayer.
O God, who gave to Saint Peregrine an Angel for his companion, the Mother of God for his Teacher, and Jesus as the Physician of his malady, grant we beseech You through his merits that we may on earth intensely love our holy Angel, the blessed Virgin Mary, and our Saviour, and in Him bless them forever. Grant that we may receive the favor which we now petition. We ask this through the same Christ our Lord. Amen
On the beads pray
Seven Our Fathers, seven Hail Marys and seven Glory be to the Fathers with the invocation, St. Peregrine, pray for us.
A shorter version of this chaplet consists of only 3 sets of Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be prayers.
The St. Peregrine Cancer Care Ministry is an outreach of the Shrine with the mission of being a source of prayer, encouragement, and hope to those suffering from cancer, and for their caregivers, family, and friends.
The Shrine also offers public veneration of the St. Peregrine Relic every fourth Saturday directly after 10 am Mass and during each of our St. Peregrine Cancer Prayer Services.
If you would like to learn more about the ministry, you may fill out this form and someone will be in contact with you.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles that you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of being until you took recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. We beseech you to ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Mention your request here…)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.
Say an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be
